HELD by HAS for Dads - a meaningful addition to our Held By HAS programs designed to support bereaved fathers through connection, understanding, community and BBQ-ing!
Just like the incredible mums in our HAS community, we want our bereaved dads to feel seen, understood and connected too, because no one should have to navigate grief alone. We know that dads often connect differently, so we’ve organised a program that’s unique and just for them - a hands on BBQ cooking experience!
This initiative has been made possible through the generous support of the Health Partners Heaps Good program and is proudly delivered with the help of the Weber Grill Academy.
An interactive cooking class that will offer a relaxed and welcoming environment for the blokes to come together, learn new skills, and connect with others. Bring a mate, meet some new ones and enjoy an informative and very fun BBQ experience.
This is on offer for bereaved fathers who have been supported by the Paediatric Palliative Care Service at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital… plus a friend!
Register you interest below and we will be in touch when the next event date has been finalised.
