This holiday season, HAS Foundation is committed to supporting 100 families who are facing the unimaginable. Whether grieving the loss of a child or caring for a child in palliative care, each family will receive a thoughtfully crafted Christmas Care Pack.
Each pack is thoughtfully filled with carefully chosen gifts for the family to enjoy together like a Christmas pudding to share, a gingerbread house kit to build and decorate together, a beautiful Christmas candle, some gorgeous toys and activity books for the kids, and a $200 supermarket voucher to help with expenses over the festive season. Each item is lovingly chosen with the aim of helping families to have time to Live for the Moment and create special memories together.
Your generosity will help these families to feel surrounded by a community that understands the power of love and supports them. These care packs are more than just gifts, they are a symbol that no family stands alone. By donating $450, you can sponsor a full Christmas Care Pack for a family, or you can contribute any amount to help us reach our goal. This Christmas, let’s come together to make a difference—helping these families live for the moment and love for a lifetime.
At HAS Foundation we know first hand what these families are going through, as our Co-founder and Director went through the unimaginable when she lost her son Hunter to a life limiting illness 10 years ago this year. Having faced the unimaginable Ella is specific on what items are selected, knowing first hand the small, but joyful impact a family game or Christmas pudding can bring during the most challenging of times.
"I actually have no words, and would really really love if you could pass on a huge teary and heartfelt thank you to Ella from HAS
Honestly, I don't feel that we should be receiving this and I feel like there are other families going through much ore, but we appreciate it more than words will ever express.
The kids are going to be over the moon to see the gifts when they get home! I can't even find the words...just lots of happy tears. Thank you."
